Founded in Minneapolis in 2004, Helical Anchors Inc. was born from a single conviction: helical foundations should be engineered, not assembled. We invested early in patented inertia-weld technology — joining helix to shaft in seconds, without filler material — and built our entire manufacturing process around it.

Today, our piles support solar farms in the desert, hospitals on soft clay, ports on liquefiable soil, and homes on every kind of slope. The same standard runs through every job: documented torque, documented capacity, documented service life.

The inertia weld advantage.

Conventional helix-to-shaft welds rely on filler metal and create a heat-affected zone — the weakest point on the pile. Our patented inertia process generates the weld through friction alone: a continuous forged grain, no porosity, no slag. The result is a joint stronger than the parent steel.
